Full Job Description

Do you want to directly influence AWS infrastructure strategy? Do you want to partner with senior leaders to drive free cash flow? Come join the AWS Dedicated Cloud Finance team! AWS Finance is responsible for end-to end financial ownership of a multi-billion dollar investment portfolio. You will be surrounded by people who are exceptionally talented, bright, and driven, and believe that world class Finance support is critical to customer success. You should be passionate about understanding cost drivers, thinking long term while assessing trade-offs, and making actionable recommendations to leaders. The Position: This role leads our Infrastructure Finance function for AWS’s worldwide Dedicated Cloud business. You will be expected to lead a team to deliver audacious goals, thinking strategically and managing through complexity while supporting on-the-ground business decisions. This is a newly scoped role and the leader will be expected to set the pace to ensure the team delivers actionable insights in a timely manner. This is not an everyday-is-the-same type of role. Your responsibilities will range from long-term planning to near-term results assessment, from supporting infrastructure growth opportunities to identifying and improving scaled business mechanisms. In this role you will be partnering with AWS Directors and Vice Presidents to solve complex business challenges and you will need to be comfortable communicating your point of view - live in meetings and through writing. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader who is decisive, action-oriented, and unapologetic about having extremely high standards. We are looking for someone who can motivate, inspire, and lead a cross-functional team. Expertise in building scalable mechanisms and continuous improvement is a plus.
