Daily travel by auto, Frequent overnight stays, Daily drive time is usually from 1 to 6 hours, Candidate must be based in the Charlottesville, VA area
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Degree, Technical or similar College Degree, 4-5 years of transferable experience, Experience working on Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics systems, Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, PLC background, Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc), Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision

Professional course (electrical or mechanical or automation courses)
What You'll Do.
Perform duties to install equipment
Provide on-demand/scheduled service
Provide training for general-purpose equipment
Perform daily task in accordance with Safety regulations
Complete all safety related training
Document daily service activities
Identify complex problems
Develop and evaluate options
Implement effective solutions
Read and interpret blueprints
Read and interpret wiring diagrams
Read and interpret schematics
Provide technical support
Provide training to Technicians
Monitor and manage schedule service calls
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
Replace defective parts
Make adjustments on equipment
Test equipment for proper operation
Coordinate pre-installation meetings
Inspect sites for product compatibility
Report potential unsafe conditions
Follow up on potential unsafe conditions
Suggest effective solutions
Maintain effective customer relationships
Communicate essential information
Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers
Identify upgrade opportunities
Identify retrofit opportunities
Notify appropriate parties for quotations
Design training programs
Conduct training programs
Prepare non-conformance reports
Prepare service bulletins
Assist on appropriate inventory sourcing levels
Assist on specific parts sourcing
