Minimum of 10 years of relevant facilities experience, Experience in HVAC systems, Solid working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general building trades/construction methods, Demonstrated ability to lead or support validation, calibration, change control, and facilities-related projects, applying sound technical judgment and ensuring activities align with GMP standards, Written and verbal communication skills, Customer-focused, Able to work independently or collaboratively across cross-functional teams in fast-paced or time-sensitive situations, Highly organized and proactive with problem-solving, Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail, Physical Requirements: Able to frequently stand, walk, sit, kneel, reach, and push/pull, with the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.; must maintain 20/30 corrected vision and be able to work occasionally in cold, humidity-prone, wet, or temperature-variable environments, including temperature-controlled refrigerators and freezers.
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical apprenticeship/certifications, Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cGMP environment or related pharmaceuticaliotechnology setting, Basic proficiency with common workplace tools (e. g. , MS Office)
What You'll Do.
Coordinating and executing preventative and routine maintenance across all facility spaces—including manufacturing suites
Serving as the primary point of contact for all internal and external maintenance needs
Ensuring the building remains safe
and fully operational
Supporting daily GMP operations
Maintaining GMP-compliant building areas
ensuring all systems and equipment remain within specification
Overseeing general facility maintenance and repairs
and overall building infrastructure
Managing GMP clean compressed air
and site HVAC through the Building Management System (BMS)
Overseeing the work order system
and facility documentation within JDE
Managing all refrigerators
and temperature‑controlled environments to ensure proper monitoring and performance
Coordinating and overseeing external vendors performing repairs
preventative maintenance
Maintaining facility fire suppression
fire safety equipment
and supporting EH&S with fire extinguisher and eye wash compliance
Supporting overall site safety
and emergency response initiatives
including participation on the safety committee
Leading or supporting validation
and off‑site construction activities
Managing exterior site maintenance (parking areas
generator) and assisting with corporate event setup as needed
