Nice to Have
5+ years of experience in spaceflight avionics testing as an electromagnetic environmental effects engineer, Experience with using analysis tools to define requirements for emissions and susceptibility of avionics components, Knowledge and understanding of EMC industry standards and specifications for aerospace, Experience modelling electromagnetic environments using computational SW, Experience with EMC lab test equipment, setup, and configurations, Experience with Qualification Procedures, Reports, Test Readiness Reviews, and failure reporting and investigation
What You'll Do.
Focus on compliance of avionics and payload/antenna subsystems
Work with hardware design teams as a subject
Perform EMC test and Test Report Documentation
Develop and maintain EMC test software
Develop and maintain report generation
Support EMC equipment calibration
Support EMC equipment maintenance
Complete EMC test procedures
Complete test reports
Support teams with test configurations
Perform testing to MIL-STD-461
Perform testing to DO-160
Collaborate with teams for definition of LRU cable
Collaborate with teams for support of LRU cable
Collaborate with teams for definition of loads
Collaborate with teams for support of loads
Collaborate with teams for definition of test racks
Collaborate with teams for support of test racks
Define EMIC test scheduling
Coordinate EMIC test scheduling
Perform troubleshooting/Development investigation testing
