Must Have
Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment (preferably within the LTL industry), leadership qualities, Desire to surround customer with excellence in service, High aptitude for technology, The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
What You'll Do.
Relay critical information between drivers and vendors/Terminal Managers
Review and revise driver routes to increase efficiencies
Monitor a changing workload
Be aware of freight that is in transit
Assist and report issues that drivers face
Ensure facility Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals are met
Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards
Provide / support a culture of excellence in quality of product
