Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must live in the United States. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. What They're Looking For.

Must Have

10+ years of experience in UX, product design, or a related discipline, including 5+ years leading multi-discipline UX teams (design, research, and/or content). Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field required. Advanced degree is a plus. A track record of building and maturing UX organizations, not just managing them. You have defined quality standards, operating models, and team structures, and have evolved them as the business and industry changed. Demonstrated experience operating as a peer to Product, Engineering, and business leaders, including navigating competing priorities, influencing without authority, and representing the UX perspective in consequential decisions. A seasoned, well-articulated point of view on how UX delivers value in a product organization, particularly the critical importance of upstream involvement in problem discovery, strategic framing, and experience coherence. Active engagement with how AI is transforming UX practice. You don’t need to be a technical expert, but you should have a perspective on how AI changes your team’s workflows, what it means for design systems and research methods, and how it shifts the role of UX in product development. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, balancing long-term strategic thinking with the pragmatism required to keep a team delivering in a fast-paced, post-IPO environment. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to make complex UX concepts accessible to non-design audiences and to influence senior stakeholders through clear, evidence-based framing.
