What You'll Achieve.
Overseeing accuracy and operations efficiency for the global payroll process; Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local (including International) legal and tax requirements; Designs short-term and long-term strategies for continuous improvement in payroll operations including optimization of systems/processes; Responsible for building scalable business processes for our payroll department and ensuring our internal control environment is effective; Build and structure a high-performing international payroll team using metrics to determine appropriate team size/scale

Travel – <10% for appropriate HR/Finance conferences or meetings, Hours – 40+ Hours per week, 5 days of the week, Frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
12-15 years of multi-state and international payroll experience with a global, multi-national company required, High level of familiarity with international payroll and compliance requirements, Proven experience as Senior Manager or other managerial position with experience building a high performing team, understanding of human resources, corporate finance, and measures of performance, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management
Nice to Have
Certified Payroll Professional (CCP), Experience with Ultimate Software, advanced Excel skills
What You'll Do.
Overseeing accuracy and operations efficiency for the global payroll process
Manage the processing of bi-weekly payroll for exempt employees and bi-weekly payroll for non-exempt employees in multi-state and international environments
Manage global payroll service providers
communicate changes for international employees
Interface and partner with HR to support onboarding of new employees as well as separations in a timely and compliant manner
Work with payroll processors to ensure compliance with federal
and local (including International) legal and tax requirements
Maintain a customer service approach to company’s employees who have questions regarding their pay
Support preparation of all payroll and related journal entries with the accounting team in support of month
quarter and year-end close
Reconcile payroll account balances as part of month end
quarter end and year end close processes
Provide analysis of payroll and related costs to identify trends and to ensure accurate
Designs short-term and long-term strategies for continuous improvement in payroll operations including optimization of systems/processes
Stay current on state and federal laws that govern reporting of wages
taxation and reporting requirements
Responsible for building scalable business processes for our payroll department and ensuring our internal control environment is effective
Lead role in determining strategy and systems for international payroll
Lead global rollout of centralized payroll processes and systems
Build international payroll team in scale with growth in EVERSANA’s international operations
reporting and account reconciliations
and other assignments as needed to support finance and HR
Responsible for and oversee their respective staff and the accuracy of their work
and discuss with team the company policies and procedures
Drive for change where needed within their respective group and department
Mentor other staff in the group or department and lead by example

Determine job objectives
