Ensures alignment with business objectives by driving innovation, operational excellence, and scalable engineering solutions that support growth, safety, and customer success. **Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities** * Provide strategic leadership and direction to multi-level engineering teams (Directors, Managers, Engineers, Designers). * Establish and execute long-term engineering strategy aligned with business growth, innovation, and operational goals. * Drive standardization, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering operation. * Oversee engineering resource planning, workforce strategy, and capacity management. * Lead development and implementation of advanced engineering tools, digital solutions, and automation. * Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Quality to support projects and resolve complex issues. * Oversee specialized engineering services, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and customer requirements. * Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and leadership team development; represent engineering at the executive level. **Nature and Scope** * Problems are complex and may be defined by higher level leadership. Solutions require high strategic level analysis and investigation. * Drives strategy and methodology and serves as the subject-matter expert for policies and practices.
