Must Have
AWS certifications required, 3+ years managing AWS infrastructure, 5+ years DevOps engineering experience, 3+ years CDK or CloudFormation, 3+ years Github CI/CD, Software engineering or programming background, Experience with Python, C#, or .NET preferred, Proven experience with monitoring and alerting tools, Proficiency with Docker, ECS, and microservice architecture, Proficiency with log aggregation tools, Architecting and deploying AWS infrastructures, Solid understanding of web services, databases, Solid understanding of backup/restore best practices, Release software through tooling, Excellent troubleshooting skills, Experience supporting enterprise-level technology, Ability to prioritize tasks, Ability to work independently, Excellent written communication skills, Excellent interpersonal communication skills, Excellent documentation skills, Demonstrable experience with cloud security fundamentals, Excellent collaboration skills across business units

SWIVEL is seeking a high-performing, hands-on Sr. DevOps Engineer committed to the practices required to support critical customer-facing platforms requiring consistent uptime while driving continuous improvement and innovation. Participate in small-team initiatives to continuously refine our deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability, and security. You will create plans, collaborate with other DevOps team members, and coordinate with software engineering and business teams. These high-visibility initiatives will help to increase service levels, lower costs, and deliver features more quickly. Design effective monitoring and alerting for conditions such as application errors and high memory usage. Design log aggregation approaches to quickly access logs for troubleshooting or generate reports for trend analysis to proactively notify business stakeholders of issues and communicate metrics while working closely with these stakeholders. ** _Why you 'll love this role:_** Doing the audacious is part of SWIVEL’s DNA.
