AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. We're looking for an experienced demand generation manager to lead marketing efforts for flagship events such as AWS Summits/AWS re:Invent. In this role, you will drive audience growth and acquisition strategy, messaging and positioning, campaigns/promotions, and cross-organizational alignment and enablement. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in event marketing, proven expertise in developing and overseeing growth strategies, crafting messaging, and driving alignment across marketing. Experience operating in a global organization preferred. Excellent communication skills are a requirement, as well as the ability to analyze results, adapt quickly based on performance, and clearly articulate results to senior leadership. Key job responsibilities This role leads the demand generation for re: Invent and re:Inforce.
