Job Description We are looking for someone who can support our current SSIS-based environment while also helping modernize our data integration approach over time. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our data stack, including future-state work related to Azure Data Factory and broader ETL modernization efforts. This role will support existing SSIS pipelines while also playing a key role in the team’s longer-term modernization efforts. We are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to help shape future-state ETL architecture, including the transition toward Azure Data Factory and more modern data integration capabilities. Support and enhance current SSIS workflows while contributing to ongoing modernization efforts toward Azure Data Factory and related ETL tools. The Database Engineer – Operations is responsible for the reliable operation of client data feeds and the overall health of our SQL Server environments, with a strong emphasis on SSIS workflows and T-SQL. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **Operational Support for Data Feeds** Own day-to-day operations of SSIS-based ETL feeds, resolve tickets for jobs and data anomalies, and maintain alerting strategies aligned with architectural standards. **Data Investigation and Operational Data Updates** Analyze database structures and business rules, then design and execute targeted SQL scripts for accurate, auditable data updates. **Database Administration & Environment Management** Manage backups, restores, and environment refreshes; perform index/statistics maintenance; and contribute to capacity and scalability planning. **Performance Tuning & Query Optimization** Review and tune T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views; analyze execution plans; and provide guidance on indexing and SQL best practices. **Data Engineering & Integration** Develop and support ETL processes using SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory, ensuring data quality through validation, reconciliatio
