This role focuses on reliable database operations, cloud adoption, automation, and close collaboration with application and platform teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Administer and support **PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server** in Azure and on-prem environments. * Support database migrations from **on‑prem to Azure** , including validation, performance tuning, and post‑migration stabilization. * Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and reliability issues using native tools and **Datadog**. * Implement and maintain **backup, recovery, and high availability** solutions. * Use and help extend **Liquibase** for database schema and change management in CI/CD pipelines. * Contribute to database provisioning and configuration through **Terraform** and Infrastructure as Code practices. * Collaborate with application and platform teams supporting **Kubernetes‑based workloads** , ensuring databases integrate reliably with containerized applications. * Automate routine operational tasks using scripting where appropriate. * Follow and contribute to database security, compliance, and documentation standards. * Participate in an on‑call rotation for prod
