About the Role The Field Systems team is looking for a talented and experienced Salesforce Data Engineer to join our growing India-based Data Engineering team. In this role, you will be the bridge between Smartsheet's Salesforce CRM ecosystem and our broader enterprise data platform. You will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that ensure clean, reliable, and timely data flows across the organization enabling sales, marketing, finance, and leadership teams to make data-driven decisions with confidence. You Will: Pipeline & Integration Management Create scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to move and transform data between Salesforce and platforms like Snowflake or NetSuite. Use Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk) and tools like Boomi, MuleSoft, or Python to maintain integrations. Use Apache Airflow for scheduling and Salesforce Flow for event-driven automation. Data Architecture & Modeling Design and maintain relational and dimensional data models. Develop dbt models to prepare datasets for Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams. Maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce’s custom and standard object models. Performance & Quality Control Monitor pipeline performance to meet SLAs and minimize data delays. Enforce standards for data cleansing, deduplication, and validation. Document data lineage and ownership policies to ensure proper data management. Collaboration & Analytics Support Prepare data for tools like Tableau and Power BI to power dash
