Job Title: Sr Data Engineer Key Skills: Experience: 5+ years Location Hermosillo, Mexico Mode: In Person We at Coforge are hiring Position (21343) with the following skill set. In this role you will be leading projects, collaborating with your team, contributing to operational excellence. You will be instrumental in helping us build and maintain data pipelines that deliver value to our customers. You believe in quality and accountability. You have deep professional level experience in Data Engineering, including Cloud technologies such as AWS. You are able to improve production systems, and have experience implementing data engineering best practices and processes. You drive the design and deployment of new capabilities to improve the data platform. You are driven to learn and you have the ability to impact the outcomes of your team. You are driven by gaining knowledge and growing your career. Required Skills specifically Python and/or Scala. • Big Data Ecosystem | 5+ years of hands-on, experience with tools and platforms like Spark Streaming, EMR, Kafka. • Cloud | 5+ years of experience in developing Big Data applications in the cloud, preferably AWS. Minimum Qualifications • Experience in data engineering fundamentals (data modeling, relational database concepts and ETL) • Experience with data analysis using SQL • Proficient in at least one programming language commonly used within Data Engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java. • Proficient understanding of Spark and ability to write, debug and optimize Spark code. • Proficient understanding of various file formats and compression techniques. • Experience with any of data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar frameworks. • Experience with source code management systems such as Github and developing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins for data.
