What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, Experience working in or supporting SAP analytics environments (SAP BW, BW on HANA, or SAP ECC reporting), Understanding of enterprise reporting concepts, metrics, and data quality considerations, Experience triaging issues, analyzing production data problems, and supporting widely used analytics assets, Proven ability to gather, document, and communicate business and technical requirements, Experience collaborating with data engineers or BI teams in an Agile or iterative delivery environment, Written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Prior experience as a developer, data engineer, or BI engineer, Familiarity with Commercial, Supply Chain analytics domains, Exposure to Databricks, cloud data platforms, or Azure analytics services, Experience supporting or working with Power BI datasets or semantic models, Experience working in a Global Capability Center (GCC) or distributed team model
What You'll Do.
Deliver incremental enhancements to SAP BW reporting and
and manage support tickets and enhancement
and performance of enterprise analytics
Identify improvement opportunities
Explain SAP ECC / BW data structures
Provide functional and data level context for SAP
Contribute to documentation and shared understanding of critical
Clarify requirements with Databricks engineering team
Validate data with Databricks engineering team
Align SAP sourced analytics with cloud delivery patterns
Support analytics initiatives across SAP BW
Enable trusted Power BI semantic models and datasets
and document analytics requirements
Translate business requests into clear
actionable requirements
Coordinate work across SAP BW engineers
