Must Have
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in customs trade compliance, or international trade with substantial experience in duty mitigation and US Customs special programs), Minimum 5 years of experience in customs trade compliance, or international trade with substantial experience in duty mitigation and US Customs special programs, knowledge of CBP regulations
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, Professional certifications related to customs, trade compliance, or supply chain are a plus (e. g. , Certified Customs Specialist, CZS, AZS, LCB, licenses customs broker), Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industries, Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, understanding of US customs duty rules and payment mechanisms, Effective communication and leadership skills, Familiarity with GE Aerospace's lean operating model, manufacturing principles (e. g. , Kaizen, Standard Work, Hoshin Kanri)
