Full Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced legal professional who enjoys being more than just a legal advisor. You'll serve as a strategic business partner, working directly with senior leadership to navigate complex legal matters, mitigate risk, support corporate initiatives, and help drive business growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, this highly visible role offers broad exposure across contracts, compliance, corporate governance, litigation management, intellectual property, and regulatory affairs. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Serve as the primary legal resource for business leaders across the organization. - Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts. - Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. - Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures. - Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend proactive solutions. - Manage litigation, disputes, and outside counsel relationships. - Support corporate governance activities, including board materials, resolutions, and corporate records. - Oversee intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and related protections. - Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise leadership on potential business impacts. - Deliver training and guidance to employees on legal, compliance, and risk-related topics. - Conduct legal research and analysis across a variety of business matters. - Manage legal budgets and control outside legal spend. - Mentor and support legal team members as the function continues to grow. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 8+ years of legal experience, including experience within a corporate legal department, law firm, or a combination of both. - Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and commercial legal experience.
