Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent engineering science plus 7+ years of relevant construction experience, 11+ years of relevant construction experience in lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants, 6+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience

What You'll Do.
Own construction project management and oversight
partner teams to build Data Centers
Represent Amazon’s owner’s representative on construction sites daily
Interact with construction trades
Act as Amazon’s construction representative on multiple data
Direct interface with construction general contractors
Create construction project scope
Request for proposals
Conduct negotiations with general contractors
Evaluate bids and proposals
Manage and drive cost
Manage construction contractors and vendors
Perform construction project management activities
Drive construction teams to troubleshoot
Perform root-cause failure analysis on equipment failures
Support commissioning and integrated system testing
Support operations of installed facilities
and maintenance initiatives
Support capital request creation
Analyze and report construction progress and financials
Record and report key construction metrics
Contribute to construction initiatives
Improve construction efficiency
Increase data center resiliency
Provide constructability reviews for electrical and mechanical designs
