S. citizenship is required, Ability to hold a TOP SECRET DoD Clearance, 3+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and vendor component data sheets, 2+ years of experience working with component obsolescence, Knowledge of electrical principles and electronic components
Nice to Have
Active SECRET DoD clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret, Understand and follow processes and procedures for component management, Demonstrated customer service experience, working with both technical and non-technical individuals and leaders, Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

Support all component lifecycle needs for programs
Consult with design engineering on part selection
Perform root cause investigation
Implement corrective action
Address part shortages and obsolescence
Manage technology roadmap
Understand preferred technologies
Understand sources of supply
Understand acceptance criteria
Apply techniques for documentation and release of components
Review Bills of Materials (BOM)
and recommend new components or materials
Analyze parametric data
Analyze preference codes
Analyze obsolescence prediction data
Provide general technical support
Generate reports related to technical issues
Connect design teams with Producibility and Design to Cost Functions
Take ownership of all regional parts
Provide technical assistance for programs

This Engineer will assume the role of a Product Component Engineer (PCE) which serves as the technical resource to Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Procurement, Obsolescence, Quality, and Supply Chain.
