What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5 years of experience in Commercial Credit Adjudication and/or Commercial Banking, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Degree in Business, Finance, and/or related field
Nice to Have
Credit risk management expertise, Knowledge in lending products, policies and guidelines, Local and national market knowledge, Legislative and regulatory requirements knowledge
What You'll Do.
Manage adjudication of commercial borrowers
Adjudicate credit applications within lending authority
Ensure sound credit practices
Liaise with business officers and risk managers
Assess credit applications
Review financial history
Approve or decline credit applications
Monitor portfolio risk
Monitor action plans for high risk accounts
Establish action plans
Prepare recommendations
Develop corrective measures
Monitor effectiveness of measures
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Liaise closely with CIBC business officers; Liaise with other risk managers; Partner with Risk Management colleagues; Partner with line lending officers; Assist relationship managers; Assist market leaders
