Must Have
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields, Experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business, 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure supply chain, procurement, or hardware engineering, 3+ years of direct experience managing custom ASICs / silicon supply chain, Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps influencing internal and external stakeholders, Experience communicating results to senior leadership, Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement within the larger AIS organization works to deliver solutions to source, build and maintain our socially responsible data center supply chains. We are a team of highly-motivated, engaged, and responsive professionals who enable the core sustainable infrastructure of AWS. We are looking for a results-oriented individual to own technical sourcing activities for semiconductor technology. This individual will drive development and execution of sourcing strategies and supplier management activities for silicon products. This individual will partner closely with hardware engineering and network engineering teams to define hardware development and sourcing strategies to take our center networks to the next generation of optical interconnect technology. Our Category Sourcing Managers are experts in their industries and drive the explosive growth of AWS by enabling disruptive technologies through responsible and strategic sourcing.
