What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an AVMA-accredited institution, Active veterinary license in at least one U. S. ability to obtain Texas licensure within 6 months of hire, Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in laboratory animal medicine, Demonstrated leadership experience managing veterinary teams, working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (USDA, OLAW, AAALAC, CDC)
Nice to Have
American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM) board certification strongly board-eligible candidates will be considered

The Senior Clinical Veterinarian is a key leadership role within the Laboratory Animal Medicine program, providing advanced veterinary oversight, clinical expertise, and program management in collaboration with the Attending Veterinarian. This position serves as a mentor and manager for a team of veterinarians, ensuring high standards of animal welfare, veterinary care, regulatory compliance and scientific collaboration.
