CIVIL ENGINEER, LAND DEVELOPMENT (STARLINK) SpaceX is leveraging its experience building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world’s most advanced broadband internet system and largest satellite constellation. We provide fast, reliable internet to millions of users worldwide, including populations with little or no connectivity, rural communities, aircraft, watercraft, and places where existing services are too expensive or unreliable. We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink’s potential global impact. As a Sr. Civil Engineer on the construction projects team, you will work with a group of elite engineers across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure for a variety of projects at the Starlink production facility. This is a hands-on role that is responsible for the planning and execution of new facility construction and renovation projects with emphasis on heavy civil and utility components. You will work with construction project managers, facility engineers, designers, vendors, and internal partners/customers to support these goals. You will have the opportunity to drive positive change and own projects from start to finish, with the goal of making the SpaceX campus a world-class manufacturing facility. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for industrial, manufacturing, and commercial-type land development projects Perform all calculations necessary for grading and drainage, stormwater control facilities, water quality, domestic water distribution, and other underground utilities Drive coordination and design necessary to obtain local, state, and federal permits as it relates to land development
