This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Join the Jarvis team, we are Blue Origin's premier fabrication and development team. Focusing on welding & fabrication, machining, final integration and testing of large tooling, landing platforms and other launch infrastructures that will enable us to build the** foundation **for a road to space. Passion for our mission and vision is required! This position is meant to certify the welds for the team. **Qualifications:** * Must have Certified Welding Inspector certification (CWI) with minimum 5 years’ experience. * Experience with the following welding processes: GTAW, FCAW, SMAW * Extensive knowledge of NDT processes including: VT, PT, MT * Experience inspecting to and working in accordance with national fabrication codes and standards (AWS D17.1, ASME BPVC Section IX, B31.1, B31.3, AWS D1.1, 1.2, D1.6, D14.0 etc.) * Experience in upholding shop fabrication requirements established in codes and standards for code compliant fabrication. * Experience in welder performance qualification tasks. * Ability to learn, grow and tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent attention to detail and task ownership, someone who demonstrates pride in all work and willingness to perform low-level tasks when needed. * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle
