Must Have
5+ years of experience in BIOS/UEFI firmware development for x86 or ARM architectures., Proficiency in C and assembly language programming., In-depth understanding of PC architecture, including chipsets, CPUs, memory, and peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, SATA)., Experience with UEFI firmware development tools and debuggers (e. g. , ITP, JTAG)., Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, VMware) and their interaction with BIOS/UEFI., Solid understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems concepts., Experience with source control systems (e. g. , Git, SVN)., Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills., Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams., Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and implement BIOS/UEFI firmware for various embedded and server platforms. * Debug complex hardware and software issues related to BIOS/firmware, working closely with hardware engineers, software teams, and external vendors. * Analyze and resolve BIOS/UEFI defects, including system hangs, boot failures, and performance bottlenecks. * Develop and execute test plans for BIOS/UEFI firmware, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define BIOS/UEFI requirements and specifications for new products. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in BIOS/UEFI and platform firmware. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. * Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure high-quality and robust firmware solutions. * Document BIOS/UEFI architecture, design, and implementation details.
