Job Summary As a Sr. BIOS Engineer at Jabil, Inc., you will be responsible for the design, development, and debugging of UEFI BIOS firmware for various computing platforms. You will play a critical role in bringing up new hardware, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the stability and reliability of our products. Job Responsibilities * Design, develop, and debug UEFI BIOS firmware for server, PC, and embedded systems. * Collaborate with hardware design teams during board bring-up and validation phases. * Analyze and resolve complex BIOS-related issues, including boot failures, ACPI, power management, and system stability problems. * Implement and optimize BIOS features such as secure boot, trusted platform module (TPM), and various system management interfaces (SMI). * Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for BIOS validation and regression testing. * Work closely with operating system and driver development teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility. * Document BIOS architecture, design specifications, and test procedures. * Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in BIOS/UEFI development. * Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
