**Job Description:** **Role – Sr Automation Engineer** **Skillset:** Selenium + API automation **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive automation lead with 7–10 years of experience in software testing, including leadership in test strategy, automation, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products through advanced testing techniques, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for complex software systems. * Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical challenges. * Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts. * Perform end-to-end testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. * Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases. * Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies. * Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements where applicable. **Required Skills:** * 7–10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation and test leadership. * Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium(java), or similar. * Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java preferable). * Experience with API testing tools (preferable: REST Assured), postman, ReadyAPI etc., * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps. * Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** * ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification. * Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience in domains preferably Airlines domain At D
