As a **Sr. Associate Controls Engineer** supporting the **U.S. MTO Team** in Johns Creek, GA, a typical day will include: * Ensuring effective communication between automated systems' mechanical, electrical, and software elements. * Oversee the planning and execution of control systems designs and monitor system performance, ensuring smooth and efficient automated processes. * Test and analyze control systems to ensure compliance to GMP/GXP procedures, process functionality and safety. * Troubleshoot potential issues and diagnose malfunctions, engaging in proactive problem-solving to mitigate system failures. * Maintaining and improving systems while focusing on enhancing efficiency, improving user experience, and reducing downtime. * Identify, design and implement improvements to machine and processes related to the infrastructure of contact lens manufacturing. * Participation on capital projects including management of associated internal resources and validation. * Troubleshoot and correct issues related to Infrastructure and facility supporting processes. * Provide expert level support and work with various organizations on key processes. * Execute protocols and continuous improvement support for site initiative and prepare documentation related to procedures, training, work instructions, validation, etc. * Providing periodic support to the business outside of normal working hours, including participation in the On-Call support cycle as needed. * Perform corrective actions, and preventive actions identif
