What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2–5 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably in eCommerce or web application testing, Experience using SmartBear test tools (TestComplete, SoapUI, LoadNinja, BitBar), Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs, Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, QAComplete, or Zephyr, understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, smoke testing), Solid knowledge of cross-browser and responsive testing best practices, Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
Experience testing Shopify, Magento, or other major eCommerce platforms, Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, VBScript) for test automation, Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git, Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA's role within the SDLC, Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and tools (e.g., Axe, Wave)

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our eCommerce development team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing web-based commerce platforms to ensure performance, usability, and reliability across browsers and devices. You’ll leverage SmartBear test tools (e.g., TestComplete , SoapUI , LoadNinja , BitBar) and other automated/manual testing methods to identify issues before they reach our customers.
