Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Flight Software Aircraft Software Integration Team at Archer. This role has a strong focus on the successful integration of Archer’s various software systems including Flight Controls, GNC, Electric Engine Controls, and Battery Management System. Additionally, our Aircraft Software Integration Team leads the productization of various off-board tools and the development of technical artifacts used during Laboratory and Flight Testing such as Archer’s Flight Test System Interface automated signal injection scripts. What You'll Do ● Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop, integrate, and test Archer’s safety critical Flight Software. ● Work closely with aircraft systems, verification, flight test, and integration teams. ● Perform performance and function-based testing on a variety of environments, including simulators, software labs, systems labs and aircraft prototypes ● Navigate through systems and software requirements, architecture diagrams, Simulink models, C source code files, lab configuration files, and supplier documents to quickly identify issues and propose integrated solutions ● Manage and disposition problem reports found during test campaigns and interface with the software development teams to implement correc
