What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate degree in accounting or finance, 4-8 years in GL accounting, Fluent in English, Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs, Hands on expertise in GL accounting, closing & reporting processes, Knowledge of GL accounting and reporting, Hands-on experience of SAP FICO – End user, Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel, Ability to interact with internal and external clients, Team player, able to work collaboratively, Ability to organize, prioritize and structure tasks
Nice to Have
Professional Qualification like CA/ACCA/CPA, 1-2 Yrs (for CA/ACCA/CPA), Knowledge of other European languages, Experience in working within a Business Services organization, Good business acumen, problem solving, deductive and analytical skills, other accounting related IT tools (e. g. Trintech Cadency, Blackline), Good communication skills, Attentive to customer needs and feedback, Attentive to detail and works with precision, Action oriented, delivery driven, change agent, Role model / coach to junior analysts
What You'll Do.
Deliver GL monthly closing & reporting services
Review interfaces for automatic postings
Close Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
Collect recurring and non-recurring items
Post Manual Journal Entries
Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis
Contribute to business reviews
Execute in compliance of processes
Complete all activities as per global Core Model
Develop expert level knowledge
Anticipate operational issues
Coach junior analysts
document and transfer A2R Core Model process knowledge
Identify process improvement opportunities
Participate in process automation initiatives
Ensure seamless adoption and transition
