Must Have
Graduate degree in accounting or finance, Fluent in English, Hands-on expertise in GL accounting, closing & reporting processes, Knowledge of GL accounting and reporting, Hands-on experience of SAP FICO – End user, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, expertise of MS Excel, Ability to interact with internal and external clients, Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally, Ability to organize, prioritize and structure the tasks for oneself
Nice to Have
Professional Qualification like CA/ACCA/CPA, 1-2 Yrs (for CA/ACCA/CPA), Knowledge of other European languages, Experience in working within a Business Services organization, Good business acumen, problem solving, deductive and analytical skills, other accounting related IT tools (e. g. Trintech Cadency, Blackline), Good communication skills, Attentive to customer needs and feedback, Attentive to detail and works with precision, Action oriented, delivery driven, change agent, Role model / coach to junior analysts
What You'll Do.
Deliver GL monthly closing & reporting services
Review interfaces that generate automatic postings
close Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
Request & collect all recurring and non-recurring items
reconcile accounts and post Manual Journal Entries
Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis
Contribute to business reviews
Execute in compliance of processes
transactions and reports
Complete all activities as per the global Core Model
Develop expert level knowledge of the activities
Pro-actively anticipate operational issues
coach junior analysts
document and transfer A2R Core Model process knowledge
Identify process improvement opportunities
Participate in process automation initiatives
ensure seamless adoption and transition

With respect to Account to Report (A2R) the Business Services centre will be covering the following areas of the process: * Assets Management * Intercompany Accounting * Treasury Accounting * GL Accounts Closing and Reporting The Closing & Reporting Accountant reports to A2R Closing & Reporting Lead and works closely with Finance (Controlling, Treasury, Internal Control), other SBS departments, Customer Service and the A2R team.
