Minimum 5 years of experience in A to Z accounting, knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, Fluent in English, Dutch and French (professional working proficiency)
Nice to Have
preferably in project accounting, joint ventures, or construction environments, Experience with joint ventures accounting, Experience working in international or project-driven environments, Knowledge of ERP accounting systems
What You'll Do.
Manage the full accounting cycle for several Joint Ventures
Prepare and review monthly
Ensure accurate bookkeeping
including journal entries
and closing processes
and partner allocations
Prepare partner reporting and financial summaries for joint venture participants
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and internal procedures
Assist with audit processes and provide required documentation
Improve and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls
Act as back-up for the Team Leader
supporting coordination within the accounting team when required

The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The position also includes a supporting leadership component, as the Senior Accountant will progressively act as back-up to the Team Leader of the department.
