What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, 5 + years of related database analysis and/or administration experience, SQL experience required, TS/SCI clearance
Nice to Have
Oracle database administration a plus, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent recommended, Oracle or SQL administration/tuning, knowledge and implementation of database high-availability solutions (Windows Server Failover Clusters, SQL Server Failover Cluster instances, and AlwaysOn Availability groups), monitoring, creating, and managing SQL server agent alerts, Database backup, restore, migration, and Database snapshot technologies/strategies, build/maintain efficient database table structures for both transactional and warehouse data, Oracle 19c administration and performance tuning, Migration experience with MySQL and PostgresSQL

Our work depends on TS/SCI cleared SQL Database Analyst joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO. HOW A SQL DATABASE ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate need for a SQL database analyst to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support SQL infrastructure deployment and management. The individual will work under limited supervision and perform additional duties as assigned to include, but not limited to: * Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers running on one or more operating systems. * Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems. * Sets up administrator and service accounts. * Maintains system documentation * Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. * Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. * Develops and implements testing strategies and document results. * Provides advice on performance tuning and training to end-users. * Maintains current knowledge of relevant techn
