What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or related field, 5+ years in a technical, client-facing role, Advanced SQL skills (Oracle, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL) with the ability to query complex schemas, optimize performance, and debug stored procedures, technical, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities, Familiarity with financial instruments, portfolio data, or asset management workflows, Understanding of 3-tier architectures and production system environments, Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical topics clearly, Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
Nice to Have
Experience with performance measurement, attribution, or reporting systems such as B-One, FactSet, Eagle PACE/STAR, SimCorp Dimension, Aladdin, or MarkitEDM, Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines, file-based integrations, and scripted automation (bash, PowerShell, or similar), Familiarity with application server management (Tomcat) and message brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ), Experience with Web Services and APIs (REST, XML, JSON), Skilled with Excel for data analysis
