Eligibility Requirements

Able to all shifts and weekends, as required, May be required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, not be limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Certified Millwright or Industrial Mechanic or Electrician, Minimum of 3 years related supervisory experience, Proven experience in maintenance of plant and equipment, Able to read any circuit diagram and correlate to actual work piece, Able to use required tools, including mechanical and electrical types, Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and controls, Sound computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use

Nice to Have

Post-Secondary Diploma or equivalent, an asset, preferably in the automotive industry, Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset

What You'll Do.

Guide and lead employees to hit set goals and objectives.

Support Production initiatives to reduce down time

improve efficiency and manage the tooling and maintenance staff based on priorities.

Oversee the completion of quality of repairs

Minimize downtime by ensuring that the P/M schedule is effective

and that all required spare parts are available

Assist in the scheduling of maintenance activities

Provide support to production during trouble-shooting activities

Monitor inventory of spare parts

input requisitions for new spare parts

Conduct annual performance appraisals and update employee files

Follow all work cell and/or department standardized work instructions/procedures.

Promote and comply with health

and environmental standards

safe operating procedures (including lock out)

good housekeeping practices and the observance of protective equipment requirements at all times

Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely fashion

Develop and execute training plan.

Lead the training of new/transferred/temporary employees

Ensure all work performed within the applicable area(s)

whether internal or by contractor

is of the highest craftsmanship and meets the design intention of Co-Ex-Tec.

Ensure compliance and enforcement of Customer Specific Requirements

Lead housekeeping duties to maintain a clean

and organized work area.

Initiate and/or participate in continuous improvement activities.
