**Department:** 34404 Carolinas Medical Center: Mercy - Nursing: 5N Surgical Telemetry **Status:** Full time **Benefits Eligible:** Yes **Hou****rs Per Week:** 36 **Schedule Details/Additional Information:** Varied **Pay Range** $38.20 - $57.30 This position is Sign On Bonus eligible. **_About the Unit:_** 5 North is a 26-bed General Surgery specialty unit. We are a Med-Surg Unit with heavy surgical volume. We specialize in: * Elective bariatricweigh loss surgery - these are typically our happiest and easiest patients. They go to the OR and are expected to be up and ambulating on post op Day 0. * Generalsurgery - appendectomies, cholecystectomies, small bowel obstruction, etc. * Foot and ankle ortho - total ankle replacements and infected foot wounds, BKA's etc. * Urology surgery. A Nurse on our Unit will gain experience in drains of all kinds, wound vacs, central lines, NGT, DHT, and all surgical things!
