What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, Current licensure in the state of practice, Certificate of Clinical Competence or documented acceptance in Clinical Fellowship Year, BLS certification, Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers, Interpersonal communications and human relation skills, Ability to become proficient with computer software applications commonly used in an automated patient care environment, Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

Previous experience with pediatric and NICU patients, Additional related education and/or experience

Document treatment and maintain patient care data
Demonstrate clinical competence and knowledge
Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations
Develop a plan of care and treatment goals
Implement individualized treatment plans
Re-evaluate treatment plans

Provide individualized home programs
Document patient treatment
Participate in training to other staff and students
Follow plan of care within established procedures
Make independent judgments based on specialized knowledge
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers; Confers with supervisor on any unusual situations; Internal customers: All levels of nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team; External Customers: Physician offices, patient families, third party payers, and medical supply companies
