Well established, family-centred child development centre based in Cairns is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to become part of a friendly and collaborative group of allied health professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families. **The Team & Workplace:** The centre comprises a multidisciplinary team of over a dozen professionals, including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and early childhood educators. The facility offers modern treatment rooms and resources, creating a nurturing environment that supports both clients and staff. The team works closely together, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous professional growth. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions for children. * Develop and implement individualised therapy plans that support functional communication outcomes. * Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other therapists to ensure holistic care. * Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. * Maintain accurate, professional clinical documentation. **What You’ll Need:** * Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology. * Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. * Experience in paediatric settings preferred. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work independently while being a proactive team player. **Highly Regarded:** * Experience working within the NDIS framework. * Familiarity with early intervention strategies and child development frameworks.
