Welcome to Ability Action Australia! We are one of the largest providers to the NDIS, supporting over 10,000 participants every year with the care they need, when and where it is needed. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family. Help us help others with life changing support that can improve their independence, access, development, health and wellbeing, and function. We would love to hear from Speech Pathologists with all levels of experience that enjoy the flexibility of working in a range of settings including both a clinic setting and the community. As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Newcastle and Hunter region , depending on where you’re based - work close to home! In this role you will: * Manage a varied, community‑based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings * Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults * Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC * Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant‑centred goals * Deliver evidence‑based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence * Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes * Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals ## Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have: * Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA * Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability * Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment As you support many, we support you.
