Must Have
Master’s Degree or equivalent, Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, CPR – American Heart Association, Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
What You'll Do.
Evaluates and treats patients with injuries or diseases which result in loss or impairment of speech
cognitive and/or swallowing
Supervises work performed by support staff
Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition and establishes goals and plan of care
Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard and possibly specialized speech therapy techniques and skills
Completes documentation to comply with department
and regulatory standards
Participates in departmental initiatives for operational improvement
including committees and educational offerings
