What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a CAPCSD-accredited program, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, Valid, unrestricted state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Proof of immunization status and background check clearance per school district requirements
Nice to Have
Experience in school-based SLP (2+ years preferred, new grads welcome), Knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks, Experience with AAC and assistive technology, Bilingual fluency (Spanish or other languages highly valued), Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and complex communication needs
What You'll Do.
Deliver evidence-based speech and language services to students K–12 with language disorders
and complex communication needs
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessment tools to determine eligibility for services under IDEA
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans with measurable
and academically relevant goals
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across language
and social communication domains
