What You'll Do.
Support main and mid-season CWOA sales
Generate new business
Source property for sale
Authenticate property
Meet sales and profit targets
Promote department within corporation
Organise preview exhibitions
Travel for exhibitions
Research and catalogue objects
Write condition reports
Handle client enquiries
Improve expertise quality
Improve client service
Mentor junior colleagues
Train less experienced colleagues
Improve departmental systems
Build relationships with international colleagues
Sell international CWOA sales
Assist on site auctions
Perform telephone bidding
Maintain client service
Maintain knowledge of policies
Participate in ad-hoc duties
Operate in accordance with company rules
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Operating as part of a team to meet sales and net profit targets; Liaising with Catalogue Production and other support departments; Build relationships with international colleagues; Work with clients to actively sell Sotheby’s international CWOA sales; Maintain an exceptionally high level of client service, both internally and externally (colleagues and public)
Communication Scope
Responding to photo forms, estimate enquiries and general correspondence; Responding to client enquiries at the counter, by email and on the telephone
