Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer with specialized expertise in coating technologies for gas turbine components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in aluminum-platinum deposition and diffusion processes, as well as in the application of thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) using HVOF (High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) and APS (Atmospheric Plasma Spray) technologies. This role is key to ensuring coating quality, process stability, and continuous improvement in high-performance turbine environments. **Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities** Coating Process Engineering: * Develop, optimize, and standardize coating processes including aluminum-platinum deposition, diffusion heat treatment. * Define and control process parameters to ensure coating quality, adhesion, thickness uniformity, and compliance with specifications. * Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation (e.g., work instructions, control plans, technical specifications). Thermal Spray Operations (HVOF & APS): * Manage setup and operation of HVOF and APS coating systems. * Monitor and troubleshoot spray parameters, equipment performance, and powder feed systems to maintain process integrity. * Ensure safety compliance and equipment calibration in accordance with industry standards. Quality & Metallurgical Support: * Work closely with the quality and materials engineering teams to analyze coating defects, microstructures, and process-related anomalies. * Coordinate root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). New Process Introduction & Continuous Improvement: * Lead the industrialization of new coating technologies or upgrades, from development to full-scale production. * Drive process improvements in terms of cycle time, yield, repeatability, and environmental compliance. * Collaborate with R&D, design engineering, and external suppliers as needed. * Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
