What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or similar MRO environments, or an Advanced degree in an Engineering discipline and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience, Experience overseeing or supporting special processes in a regulated industry
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with heat treat, welding, plasma coatings, cleaning, and/or shot peening processes, Ability to interpret engineering specifications, technical standards, and process requirements, understanding of quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies, Familiarity with aerospace industry standards including ASTM, AMS, and NADCAP requirements, Experience supporting Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC) engine programs or engine MRO operations, ASQ, Six Sigma, or related quality certifications are a plus

Lead and support internal and external audits related to special processes

Support qualification
