Must Have
Ability to obtain and maintain applicable state General Law Enforcement Certification, Ability to perform under stressful, emergency conditions, Valid Driver's license, Ability to pass rigorous background check, polygraph and/or psychological testing, Ability to pass Advocate Health mandated Taser, CPI, and self-defense training
Nice to Have
2 years general law enforcement or public safety experience, General Law Enforcement Certification
What You'll Do.
Intervene when unruly persons are encountered
Apprehend and arrest individuals
Complete investigations of criminal activity
Process criminal defendants
Respond to routine calls for assistance
Respond to emergency calls for assistance
Complete uniform incident reports
Complete other assigned documentation
Serve as subject matter expert in criminal process
Communicate in a calm
Coordinate with community police agencies
Communicate with community police agencies
Provide armed response to imminent situations
Prepare criminal cases for court proceedings
Testify in criminal proceedings
