Why this role matters - Own the regulatory roadmap, securing the licenses and approvals required for every business objective and market entry. - Represent BJAK as the primary liaison, influencing policy and negotiating terms with high-level government officials and regulators. - Translate our hyper-growth plans into a proactive, compliant, and scalable regulatory strategy for new markets (post-Malaysia). - Serve as the strategic advisor to C-suite leadership on regulatory risk, anticipating changes and providing solutions before they become blockers. What You Will Do - Lead high-stakes interactions with government and regulatory bodies, negotiating license terms and advocating policy positions that support BJAK's growth agenda. - Develop and execute the regulatory strategy for new market entry and high-priority projects across Southeast Asia, managing multi-agency approvals from start to finish. - Own the end-to-end lifecycle management of all required licenses and operating permits, ensuring timely renewals and proactive compliance across the organization. - Monitor and interpret complex regulatory changes globally, translating legislative impacts into clear, strategic advice and implementation plans for leadership. - Partner directly with Legal, P
