Voted best company to work for by US News & World Report for 2025-2026.** **Pay:** $25.00 per hour + Full Benefits **Schedule:** 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented AM Dispatcher to support our special needs school bus operations. This role ensures safe, on-time transportation for students by coordinating drivers, monitoring routes, and communicating with schools and families during morning service. **Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee morning routes to ensure on-time performance and full coverage * Communicate with drivers, attendants, schools, and parents regarding delays or issues * Assign spare drivers and adjust routes as needed in real time * Support drivers with directions, student needs, and problem-solving * Respond quickly to service disruptions and escalate when necessary * Maintain accurate logs of delays, incidents, and route activity **Qualifications:** * Dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience preferred * School bus or special needs transportation experience a plus * Strong communication and multitasking skills * Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment * Basic computer skills (email, routing/GPS systems) **What We’re Looking For:** * Dependable and punctual * Strong problem-solver * Team-oriented with a focus on safety and customer service Beacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
