What You'll Do.
Manage spare parts inventory
Maintain accurate inventory records
Develop inventory control processes
Ensure parts are stored properly
Develop predictive parts recommendations
Analyze trends for stocking strategies
Develop spare parts recommendations for customers
Prepare and deliver spare parts quotes
Provide parts quotes for service requests
Educate customers on spare parts value
Develop and maintain vendor relationships
Monitor lead times and pricing
Identify and qualify replacement parts
Expand vendor network
Negotiate pricing and terms
Lead and develop department team
Establish department goals and KPIs

ThermalWorks LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Spare Parts Director to join our team, working directly with the COO of ThermalWorks and overseeing inventory management, customer parts recommendations, vendor relationships, and predictive analytics for parts planning. This role ensures that ThermalWorks' service department is fully supported during startup, commissioning, and warranty periods, while providing customers with expert guidance on maintaining their own on-site spare parts inventory after warranty expiration. The Spare Parts Director plays a critical role in keeping TW equipment running reliably for customers, minimizing downtime, and strengthening long-term customer relationships through proactive parts support. The Spare Parts Director needs to be agile, professional, trustworthy with confidential information and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. The right person can work well both independently and with a team. ThermalWorks values efficiency and strives to maintain smooth operations.
