Must Have
BS degree in engineering, 15 years of direct engineering experience, MS degree in engineering, 10 years of direct engineering experience, Ph. D degree, Familiarity with spacecraft capsule parachute systems, Organizing, planning, and managing technical activities, Knowledge of aerodynamics, Knowledge of flight dynamics, Knowledge of loads & dynamics, Ability to utilize oral and written communication, Ability to present technical data, Ability to present concepts, Ability to present recommendations, Excellent communication skills, Ability to work in a team environment
Nice to Have
MS or Ph. D. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, Extensive knowledge of parachute recovery systems, Extensive experience with ground testing of textile components, Extensive experience with ground testing of assemblies, Expertise in interpretation of ground test data, Expertise in interpretation of flight data, Experience with wind tunnel testing, Experience with extracting aerodynamic data from flight testing
